Day 1-Dijon

After hours of traveling we finally made it to Dijon! We checked into our dorm rooms and passed out for a good 10 hours. Today we started with breakfast at the dorms and a tour of the AgroSup campus-the school sponsoring our program in Dijon.
Lunch at the school cafeteria. Lauren, Anna, Amy and I explored downtown Dijon during free time today. We ate macaroons, drank cafe au laits and walked around so much we had blisters on our feet.
giant meringues.
Lauren & Anna.
Cured ham & parsley at an Irish pub. Delicious.
The greatest part of today was our dinner...
Anna's escargot appetizer. Already tried escargot...thanks Mr. HodgePodge ;)
Salad with warm goat cheese and smoked salmon appetizer.
Hands down the best salmon I've ever had. Well, besides my dad's of course. They're tied.
Steak and scalloped potatoes for the main course.
Such a shame but the steak was so huge this is all I could eat. I tried to finish it but Peter was seriously struggling.
Dessert-banana and apple crumble with vanilla bean ice cream. It's safe to say I'm never going to feel hungry on this trip. Sorry Mackenzie if I don't fit into my bridesmaids dress!
